Bio:

Wietse Van Der Werf is an ocean conservation activist whose focus is on the protection of the threatened marine wildlife and ecosystems in European seas. Wietse was one of the co-founders of the Mischief Makers, an art-activist collective from Nottingham, UK who work to make positive change through creative action. More recently, Wietse co-founded The Black Fish, a European marine conservation organization, who gained international attention after cutting the nets of fisherman to free dolphins in Taiji, Japan last September.
