Bio:

Whitney Black is a member of The Yes Men, an organization that uses satire and fake identities as a weapon for unveiling the ugly truth behind environmental and social injustices. Previously, Whitney worked as a research scientist in laboratories after receiving a degree in marine science and chemistry. Too sassy for lab goggles, she ran off to New York City, where she searched for a job that would allow her to mix theater and her climate change activism. Serendipitously she fell into the Survivaballs of The Yes Men. Now she spends her days feeding her obsession to save the world through comedy and satire while trying to explain to her parents that this is in fact a “real job.”
