Bio:

Susie Wheeldon is a bike activist. She was one of three cyclists pedaling around the planet for a year, from May 2009 to February 2010. Spanning the distance of 13,500 miles using solar power to communicate and promote renewable energies, while using human power to move. Her journey, sponsored by NOKIA and supported by people around the world, took her across Europe, into the deserts of Africa, crossing Asia and then skipping over to the United States – all in the name of solar.
