Rob Stewart is a Canadian documentary filmmaker. At twenty-nine, he is the director and star of the award-winning documentary Sharkwater. Sharkwater, has spotlighted the issue of sharkfinning and how a predator has turned prey. The film has made history with the largest opening weekend of any Canadian documentary and is being showcased this summer in China, the largest consumer & trader of shark fins in the world. This film is both increasing awareness of the plight of sharks and making changes for their fate. Rob has a degree in Biology and was the chief photographer for the Canadian Wildlife Federation’s magazines before becoming a filmmaker.
